No ploughing since 2013, our vineyard soil is covered with turf, wild flowers and frequently mown.
All this (mowing as well as spraying and biodynamic treatments) is done with a tiny light caterpillar tractor, so as not to tamp the soil.
Whereas manual grape-picking takes place selectively over four sunny afternoons in late september. This natural way of proceeding has but one objective in mind : encourage the vinetree to invest all its energy into bearing berries of exceptional ripeness and quality.
